I also served on the editorial board for Hotel Executive magazine, and am a best selling author. I developed the community engagement kit for the Act Against AIDS Leadership Initiative (AAALI). I also helped write a best practices manual for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to better use and position their blog. In 2005-6 I served as photographic editor and caption writer for the anniversary issue of The Safety Net, national magazine for for the National Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems, and photo editor and caption writer for their 25th anniversary history book on public hospitals, as well as the brochure for NAPH’s annual conference.
